A cross pendant set with stones in five different colors — pink, purple, olive, red, and clear — each one prong-set individually, the arrangement following the arms of the cross from top to bottom. The center stone is the largest, oval-cut, the surrounding pavé sitting flush around it. The box chain is square-linked, the surface catching light differently from a round cable chain, the whole piece hanging with a slight forward lean that keeps the pendant facing out. At 5.2 grams the pendant has presence without weight. In gold the stones read warm against the chain; in silver the contrast between the cool metal and the colored stones is more pronounced.
